About the event
Understanding the Teen Anxiety: Brains, Screens and Coping Skills is a parent‑focused workshop that unpacks what is happening in the teenage brain when anxiety shows up. You’ll learn why anxiety can feel so intense in adolescence, how stress and screens interact with a sensitive “alarm system,” and how attachment and co‑regulation can help your teen find their way back to calm. Together we will explore realistic, everyday strategies and a simple one‑week experiment you can try at home, so you leave with concrete ideas rather than just information. We honour the Quw’utsun peoples on whose traditional lands we gather.
Registration is $5.00, Bursaries are available – Just ask!
